From Memphis to New Orleans: Following the Blues
In the early 2000's, Jeff Clapp and Dave Teague of the DCC English Department made a two week journey from Memphis to New Orleans.
They began their search for Blues music and history on Beal Street in Memphis where B.B. King still reigns. They drove through small towns such as Midnight, Mississippi and searched for authentic Blues clubs and music, finally ending up in New Orleans.
Visit the Writing Center to see an exhibit of Jeff's poetry and Dave's photographs, capturing the flavor of their journey.
